Tinta Offset untuk Foil Board

Kalau kita bicara tentang tinta offset pasti terbayang bahwa tinta offset tersebut dicetak pada substrate atau material kertas seperti duplex, ivory, HVS dan art paper. Bahan kertas tersebut adalah jenis kertas yang mempunyai pori-pori, sehingga tinta offset yang di cetak di atasnya biasa kering dan mesuk ke dalam pori-pori kertas. Kita tahu bahwa tinta offset tersebut mengalami process pengeringan dengan dua macam, satu karena oksidasi dengan udara, dua dengan cara masuk kedalam pori-pori kertas. Sebab dari itu tinta offset akan mengalami penurunan ketebalan pada saat basah setelah cetak dan pada saat tinta tersebut sudah benar-benar kering. Makanya diciptakan tinta uv yang tidak mengalami penuruan ketebalan saat basah dan kering, tapi ya …… itu marganya mahal. Dan tinta uv biasanya di pakai pada foil board yang tidak mempunyai pori-pori.

Foil board adalah material cetak yang tidak mempunyai pori-pori seperti pada kertas, contohnya: metallized board, MPET, metallized paper dan sebagainya, karena tidak mempunyai pori-pori maka diperlukan sebuah tinta yang bisa kering tanpa masuk kedalam pori-pori seperti tinta uv. Karena tinta uv memerlukan lampu uv dalam process pengeringan dan mahal, makanya kita pakai saja tinta offset untuk foil board yang hargaya tidak terlalu jauh dibanding dengan tinta offset biasa.

Tinta offset untuk foil board ini memerlukan perlakuan khusus agar cetakkan yang dihasilkan bisa baik dan tidak rusak.

Berikut ini perlakuan khusus tinta offset untuk foil board pada saat cetak di mesin :

Tumpukan hasil cetak maksimal 500 lembar
Di beri pembatas bila di tumbuk lebih dari 500 lembar
Kecepatan cetak tidak boleh terlalu cepat maksimal 5000 lembar perjam
Harus menunggu 24 jam bila ada process selanjutnya
